2 Simple Tips When It Comes to Confidence

Confidence - seems so hard to get but so easily portrayed. Without it, we're considered as nothing. So, what to do you're when you're desperate to develop your self-esteem and turn your life around?

Study yourself
Many people can say they like doing this, they like doing that. But, have you ever wondered - do they really have an interest in the things they claim to? Or, are they just saying it to 'fit-in'? It's so easy to follow the trend, but not following our own selves and our own principles. I'm sure most people would agree that as human beings, we never like being different and being called 'weirdos'. As the matter is, have we ever took a couple of minutes and think of how boring life would be if everyone was the same? Ask yourself, "Do I really want to be like them?"

To stand out from the crowd and enjoy your life while you're at it, study yourself first - what you like, what you don't like, and make sure you love yourself for it. No one needs to be the same as everyone else, be proud of who you are - your brain and your attitude is part of who you are. If people have problems with it, let them. You can never satisfy everyone in this world, so, why try?

Learn from your mistakes
When I said "When people have problems with you, let them", I didn't mean "If people hate you for being a jerk, let them." I meant if people hate you for how good you are, ignore them. In this world, we cannot satisfy everybody! So, automatically, we will have some who hates us and some who loves us for who we are. As I always remind myself, let the haters speak - who else would be cool enough to give them the chance to?

In life, mistakes are inevitable, but that doesn't mean we have to repeat it over and over again. Nobody's perfect, the least we can do is learn from our mistakes and make sure we avoid making the same mistakes in the future. When you've made a mistake, ask yourself these key questions "Where did I go wrong?" "If I were to face the same situation again, how can I handle them better?" By keeping these questions in mind, you can always check for ways of improving yourself.

Only when you've learnt from your mistakes will you be able to build up on your confidence. After all, if you thought you were perfect, being a normal human being would be a massive problem to you and a single failure could ruin your confidence and your life easily. So, always remember - nobody's perfect - the least we can do is keep on learning and keep on improving.
